About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our brand new specialist Eating Disorder service for adults in Midhurst, West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of a therapeutic programme and psychology pathway.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide specialised clinical psychology input, conducting individual assessments, formulation, intervention and consultation. They will also supervise and train a friendly therapeutic team composed of Therapists and Assistant Psychologists.

Key Responsibilities

  • To conduct individual assessments, formulate, intervene and consult with patients experiencing eating disorders;
  • To develop and implement a comprehensive range of clinical psychology theories delivering specialised psychological therapy and skills;
  • To work collaboratively with a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to ensure high-quality care and effective treatment plans;
  • To provide direct clinical work, supervision and training for a team of therapists and assistant psychologists.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology;
  • BPS recognised psychology degree;
  • UK HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist;
  • Newly qualified or experienced psychologists will be considered.
