Our client, a leading UK-based Engineering Consultancy, is seeking an experienced Assistant Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Leeds. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and a proven track record in Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Residential Drainage or Sewerage Designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3
  • Surface Water Management Plans
  • Drainage Strategy and detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD, Infodrainage, and Microdrainage
  • Drainage Area Planning
  • Road Design
  • Highway design

Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng and/or MSc/MEng in Civil Engineering
  • Dissertation focused on SuDS Design or Flood Risk Assessments
  • Experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority
  • Reside locally
