Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Soft Landscaping Manager to join our team at GreenScape Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of soft landscaping schemes, ensuring high-quality results and meeting client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute soft landscaping schemes, including turfing, barking, mulching, tree and shrub planting, and fencing.
- Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, designers, and operatives to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Agree extra works and undertake on-site assessments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Help resolve client or supplier disputes and communicate any issues or problems with the Contracts Manager.
- Ensure all work is recorded and reported, and notify any H&S issues, observations, or accidents in line with company procedures.
- Ensure all teams have the correct uniform and PPE, and that all vehicles and machinery are in good order and safe to operate.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are well maintained, clean, and serviceable.
Requirements:
- A current CSCS Card is essential.
- A current driving licence is essential.
- A minimum of two years' previous experience in landscaping is essential, with a broad range of landscaping skills.
- A SSSTS qualification would be useful.
