These are Full Time, Permanent, Employed positions. That means that you are paid for ALL working days plus Holiday Pay and Sick Pay. You are paid for your time travelling to site and there is overtime at a higher rate
You will have an important role in one of the most successful Landscape companies, in the South West. A company who invest in staff training and, wherever possible promote internally.
You will be creating the soft landscaping schemes that are the “icing on the cake” for some of the most prestigious, new build, housing developments. Your work will ensure that these projects make the finest impression on perspective buyers and new owners. The role will use all your Soft Landscaping abilities and give you the opportunity to develop some new skills and qualifications.
The Job:
Teams are based from the depot just outside Plymouth and you will either start from there or drive the company van from home directly to sites across the South West. You are paid from 7:00am to 4:30pm daily, not when you arrive on site
We are looking for Landscape Installation Team Leaders who will be working alongside, and supervising Operatives on site.
* Using Plans and Planting Diagrams to accurately create Landscaping schemes
* Turfing
* Barking / Mulching
* Tree and shrub planting
* Fencing
* General Horticultural duties as necessary
* Making sure that completed work is recorded and reported
* Communicating any issues or problems with your Supervisor
* Notification of any H&S issues, Observations or Accidents in line with company procedures
* Making sure you have the correct uniform and PPE
* Ensuring that all vehicles and machinery that you use are in good order and safe to operate
* Making sure that all tools and equipment are well maintained, clean and serviceable
The Person:
* A current CSCS Card is ESSENTIAL
* Current Driving Licence is ESSENTIAL
* A minimum of two years previous experience in Landscaping is essential and a broad range of Landscaping skills would be extremely useful.
* A SSSTS qualification would be useful
