Reception Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality education to young learners, promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and fostering a love of learning in their students.
About the SchoolOur school is a 2-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Tunbridge Wells, offering a friendly and welcoming environment for both students and staff.
We pride ourselves on our supportive pastoral environment, which enables our students to develop into well-rounded, confident individuals.
Responsibilities- Teach the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
- Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry to young learners.
- Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
- Keep track of children's progress and report back to parents as necessary.
- Relevant qualifications, including experience teaching Early Years Foundation Stage.
- The confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
