Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work for Bighams Limited, a leading manufacturer of pre-prepared meals. We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Quarry Kitchen site in Wells.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum machinery availability through world-class preventative and reactive maintenance practices. This will involve carrying out planned maintenance, providing expert engineering support to production, and managing contractors when required.

A key aspect of this role will be to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently, with minimal disruption to production. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a FMCG environment, a mechanical and electrical certificate (NVQ3 or equivalent), and time-served apprenticeship.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, 4 on/4 off shift pattern, and the opportunity to work for a well-established company with a strong reputation in the industry.
