About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Governance Specialist to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As an Associate Head of Risk and Assurance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our laboratory operations are governed by a patient-focused quality agenda.

Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Head of Governance as required, providing strategic leadership and direction to the governance team.
  • Maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, developing a system of quality assurance and monitoring.
  • Lead on root cause analysis for serious incidents and develop effective mechanisms for learning from serious incidents.
  • Advise the Senior Leadership Team in a timely manner of high-risk incidents or matters that might substantially impact patient safety, staff safety, or the reputation of HCA Healthcare UK.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience as a Laboratory Quality Manager, with a proven track record of managing risk and quality in a laboratory setting.
  • Qualification in Laboratory Quality Management, such as CQC registration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
