About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a well-established packaging company in Corby. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on manufacturing machinery, conducting planned and preventative maintenance, and implementing continuous improvement methods to ensure smooth production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on manufacturing machinery
  • Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on an array of manufacturing machinery
  • Installations and repairs of electrical based equipment, PLCs/Motor Drives/Invertors & Heating Circuits
  • Mechanical and electrical fault finding and rectification
  • Implementing continuous improvement methods to ensure smooth running of the plant and minimizing downtime
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years worth of experience as a Maintenance Engineer
  • Proven electrical capabilities in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities
  • Previous experience working in the packaging industry (advantageous)
  • Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous
