Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager/Office Manager to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial statements, analytical skills, finance, financial reporting, and accounting tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statements: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting: Manage accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
  • Financial Regulations: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including knowledge of CIS and other relevant matters.
  • Accounting Software: Proficient in accounting software, including Sage and Excel.
  • Financial Responsibilities:
    • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Preparation of Submissions: Prepare and submit financial reports and statements to relevant authorities.
    • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
    • Project Cost Reports: Provide regular project cost reports to senior management.
    • Payroll: Prepare and submit company payroll on a fortnightly and monthly basis.
Requirements:
  • AAT part/fully qualified (desirable)
  • Experience in finance and accounting
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Office Support: Provide administrative support to senior management and the company.
  • Stocktaking: Manage office and site supplies.
  • Document Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Travel and Accommodation: Organize travel and accommodation for staff as necessary.
  • Office Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Planning Employee Events: Plan and organize employee events and client events.
  • Point of Contact: Serve as a point of contact for building/office management/landlords.
  • General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to senior management and the company.
