About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Operations Assistant to join our team at Boots Northwich, Witton Street store. As a Retail Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store during the Christmas season.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick and Pack Online Orders: Process online customer orders to a high standard using a handheld device, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Stock Management: Maintain a high level of stock accuracy, locating and retrieving stock from the stockroom and sales floor as required.
  • Support Daily Operational Activities: Assist with stocking shelves, general housekeeping, and other tasks as needed to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues to solve issues and meet daily targets, communicating effectively with team members and management.
Requirements
  • Full Training Provided: We offer comprehensive training for this role, but you should have a strong ability to follow processes and work at pace.
  • Team Player: Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and listening skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with colleagues and management to achieve store goals.
  • Comfortable with Technology: Familiarity with handheld mobile devices and technology is required, as you will be using these tools to process online orders and manage stock.
Desirable Skills
  • Retail or Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is desirable, but not essential.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the products sold by Boots is beneficial, as you will be able to quickly identify and retrieve stock for online orders.
