Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our retail team as a Store Assistant. As a key member of our shop team, you will provide excellent customer service, work towards achieving sales and fundraising targets, and contribute to maintaining a high standard of shop presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers and supporters.
- Work collaboratively with the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
- Assist with maintaining shop standards, including visual presentation, health and safety, and safeguarding compliance.
- Develop relationships with local community members and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
- Support fundraising events and activities to achieve fundraising targets.
- Take on keyholder responsibilities as required, with training provided.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in a busy customer-facing environment.
- Ability to manage workload and work independently when required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
