We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team at Sherburn House in Knaresborough. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Salary: £12.05 per hour (£12.95 nights) plus additional pay for weekend work.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assisting with meal preparation and medication management.
- Attending activities and events with individuals, promoting social interaction and engagement.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided, including monitoring and reporting any changes in physical or mental health.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a compassionate and caring nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be willing to undergo relevant training and development to ensure you meet the needs of our residents.
