Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Temporary Environmental Inspector to join our team at Essential Employment. As an Environmental Specialist, you will play a critical role in implementing the Contaminated Land Inspection Strategy and providing expert advice on remediation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into air, land, noise, and water pollution, gathering and analyzing data to inform remediation strategies.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective air quality strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on contaminated land remediation, including policy development and modification as required.
  • Act as a departmental consultee on pollution-related planning applications and land search enquiries, offering expert advice and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
