Teaching Assistant Role in Hackney

Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a talented Linguistics Graduate to join a diverse and inclusive primary school in Hackney as a Teaching Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your teaching skills and support vulnerable children in a fantastically equipped and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted intervention sessions to support children with communication difficulties
  • Teach intervention and phonics sessions to improve literacy and spoken English skills
  • Develop your teaching skills and expertise in supporting vulnerable children
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and other third parties to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with children on a professional level is essential
  • Outstanding communication skills are required to connect with children and engage with school staff, parents, and other third parties

About the School:

The school is a large and inclusive primary school in Hackney, offering a competitive weekly salary ranging from £475 to £550 (inclusive of holiday entitlement) for a one-year contract, September to July, term time only.
