About the Role

Mencap is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Stowmarket. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities and provide emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Build meaningful relationships with service users and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Contract Options

  • Part-time: 2 x 26 hours

Shift Times

  • Days: Between 07:30 - 23:00
  • Sleep-in available with an enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45
