We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team in Devon. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.
Your Role
- You will work closely with our production team to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent future problems.
- Using your knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, you will analyze quality data to optimize our processes and improve product reliability.
- You will lead internal audits and ensure compliance with industry quality standards (ISO9001, AS9100).
- In collaboration with our cross-functional process improvement teams, you will drive product and process improvements using statistical data and Six Sigma tools.
Requirements
- You possess in-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, including value stream mapping and one-piece flow.
- You have a strong understanding of Six Sigma tools, such as regression analysis and design of experiments.
- You are proficient in problem-solving methods like 8D, root cause analysis, and FMEA.
- You have experience working with CAD, CAM, MS Office, MiniTab, and similar software.
- You hold knowledge of manufacturing principles, including metal cutting, tool design, and injection molding.
