Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to lead a high-performing kitchen team, ensuring seamless execution of large-scale events and maintaining the highest standards of work.

  • Enforce the highest possible standards of work within the kitchen
  • Manage the roster to ensure proper coverage and adapt to the demands of the business
  • Develop and recruit a skilled team, focusing on training and mentoring
  • Oversee the maintenance of the kitchen and plan layouts to optimize efficiency
  • Manage food costs responsibly and work with the gardening team to implement a sustainable food plan
  • Collaborate with the social media team to showcase the kitchen's story and engage with the community
  • Develop progression plans for full-time staff and ensure controlled production, costed and fit for purpose
  • Monitor and adapt HACCP plans, refine the kitchen structure for maximum efficiency, and plan manpower requirements
  • Build relationships with chef training colleges to attract top talent
  • Organize daily kitchen operations, including department meetings and new team member inductions

Salary and Benefits
