Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Accountancy Manager to join our team at Ensors. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing management accounts for clients, as well as supporting the junior team with queries.

The role involves reviewing client records and making recommendations for improvements, as well as assisting clients with implementation projects including planning and training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare timely and accurate management accounts for clients.
  • Support the junior team with queries and provide guidance on financial matters.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess strong accounting and financial management skills, with a solid background in finance operations work.

You should hold the ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA qualification, or be able to demonstrate that you are qualified by experience to a similar level.

Prior practical experience of drafting management accounts, producing and reporting on management accounts, setting up accounting systems/functions, and completing VAT returns is essential.

A strong grasp of ICT/relevant software systems, and a willingness to utilise them to their full potential, coupled with the ability to re-evaluate existing systems/processes with a view to continuous improvement, is also required.

Self-motivation and the ability to work without supervision are essential, as is a full UK driving licence with access to own transport, to facilitate client visits.
