Job Summary:

Hargreaves Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Mitigant Operator to join our team at Drax Power Station. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting our site Mitigant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating Mixers to transport Mitigant slurry to the production area as per the requirements of the power station.
  • Completing regular inspections of the plant and pipework & reporting any defects, blockages etc.
  • Carrying out cleaning duties within the plant areas as directed by the supervisor
  • Carrying out any other reasonable instruction required to ensure the smooth operation of the site as directed by the supervisor
  • Completing all associated check sheets for both mobile & static plant
  • Promoting and maintaining a positive attitude towards safety, compliant with Hargreaves and Drax's safety rules.

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude towards safety
  • Strong team working and communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work and punctual
  • Loading Shovel Experience preferable - but not essential
  • Ideally candidate will have experience operating heavy mobile plant but not essential as training will be provided
