About Luton Bennett:

Estimated Salary Range: £31,000 - £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role: As a Service Engineer with Luton Bennett, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment within the allocated geographical area. You will enjoy a local field-based role with no stay away or extensive travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on forklifts and other materials handling machinery
  • Provide reactive breakdown coverage within the designated area
  • Participate in comprehensive training programs to ensure proficiency on all machinery and equipment

Requirements:

  • Proven mechanical service and repair skills, preferably with engine diagnostics and basic electrical knowledge
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, or automotive technicians/motor trade experience
