Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Production Futures. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a key technical and leadership role in the project life cycle, ensuring smooth and effective shop and site installation involving work across 3 specialized areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical tasks on a variety of staging/rigging equipment to ensure that our products meet the desired specifications.
  • Assist with the assembly and disassembly of on-site custom show-built elements.
  • Set up-staging and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all Health and Safety policies and procedures are always met.
  • Perform the safe installation of lifting systems.
  • Prepare technical and inspection documentation.
  • Travel to client sites, possibly internationally, to support clients and projects.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of mechanical terminations and fixtures.
  • Entertainment rigging and components.
  • Ability to repair and replace complex mechanical assemblies.
  • Willingness to travel and work in "entertainment conditions".
