Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our regional commercial team in Swansea. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day commercial aspects of new build projects across residential, social housing, and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure optimum commercial return is achieved for the project.
  • Prepare accurate cost/value reconciliation reports.
  • Agree interim valuations at the agreed dates to gain the best commercial advantage for the company.
  • Maximise project margins by agreeing final accounts with subcontractors.
  • Prepare and agree sub-contract orders in accordance with company procedure.
  • Maintain control of subcontractor's accounts and minimise the cost of any variations.
  • Carry out duties as quantity surveyor on projects as instructed.
  • Prepare or assist with cost/value reconciliation reports on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare turnover cash flow forecasts as directed by line manager.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience with a main contractor essential.
  • Ideal experience on Residential and commercial projects.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering Commercial projects within budget and programme.
