Rhino Recruitment Careers is seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in undertaking estimates for a mix of traditional and Design & Build projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing all relevant documentation, obtaining supplier and subcontract quotations, and creating detailed estimates using computer software programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, log, and create Estimates/Tenders from new enquiries
  • Review and analysis of all relevant documentation
  • Obtain supplier and subcontract quotations for all mechanical disciplines
  • Reviewing drawings specifications to determine cost estimates
  • Liaising with clients and team members to answer questions about materials or design changes
  • Identifying potential problems with materials or design that could affect costs or construction timeframes
  • Forecasting labour costs by calculating the number of workers needed to complete the job

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated individual with a passion for mechanical estimation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
