Job Description

Construction Project Manager - Birmingham

We are recruiting a Construction Project Manager to join our operations team based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to work on prestigious design and build projects including student accommodation, high-rise residential, build-to-rent and commercial developments across the West Midlands.

The initial project is a student accommodation development in Birmingham valued at £35m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operations on site to ensure work is completed safely
  • Ensure works are being delivered to programme
  • Manage sub-contractors and specialist trades
  • Ensure site records are maintained

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering D&B projects as a Construction Project Manager
  • Experience managing construction sub-contractors
  • Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
  • SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Construction Project Manager delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £10m - £20m.
