Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning Ltd. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in our primary and secondary schools.

About the Role:
  • Support students with autism, PMLD, physical disabilities, and general SEND in a primary and secondary school setting.
  • Assist with personal care, such as hygiene and feeding, manual handling, and therapy sessions.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
Requirements:
  • Passion and enthusiasm for working with students with SEND.
  • Experience working with students with autism and PMLD, or a strong care background.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
