Kitchen Leader - Breakfast

We are seeking an experienced Lead Kitchen Specialist - Breakfast to join our team at Red Lion TruckStop Northampton.

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality dishes while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and excellent leadership skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  2. Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to achieve high-quality results.
  3. Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  5. Monitor and control kitchen costs, ensuring profitability.
  6. Participate in staff training and development programs.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a senior chef in a busy kitchen environment.
  2. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  3. Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.
  5. Qualification in culinary science or relevant subject preferred.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,500 per year, along with company discounts and benefits, uniform provided, 28 days holiday, free food, accommodation, and utility bills. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
