Financial Accountant - Consolidation Expert

Help us make a difference in the world of low-carbon energy. As a Group Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS and the Group Accounting Manual. Your responsibilities will include preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, as well as coordination with the financial accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements in BPC, involving coordination, preparation, input, and peer review of group adjustments
  • Maintenance of accurate records to support consolidation adjustments
  • Ensuring all monthly deliverables are received from subsidiaries and key point of contact for site finance teams
  • Coordination of the preparation of the Annual and Interim Group Accounts
  • Preparation of certain sections of the Group Annual Report, including the Directors' Report and preparation of certain Head Office subsidiary accounts
  • Assistance with preparation of Interim and Year-end external audit deliverables and timetable
  • ONS quarterly foreign investment returns
  • Compliance with Internal Controls, including relevant balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant
  • Experience of group consolidation and statutory reporting
  • Good understanding of IFRS
