About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Camlin Energy. As a key member of our GSD HQ regional team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient high voltage monitoring solutions and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create detailed customer engineering drawings, develop comprehensive technical specification documents and checklists, and design bespoke mechanically sound components, including hydraulic flange fittings.
  • Customer Engagement: Collect project requirements and understand customer needs and preferences, serving as a specialized point of contact for customer inquiries regarding our HV products.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments to ensure project requirements are met, support the implementation of HV monitoring solutions by providing technical expertise, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues related to project designs.
Essential Criteria
  • Design and Technical Skills: Produce accurate and detailed engineering drawings for customer projects, develop and maintain technical specification documents and checklists, and ensure all designs meet mechanical integrity and safety standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments to ensure project requirements are met, and communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
Qualifications
  • A minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience with CAD software packages (Solid-Edge preferably) including creating 2D technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment.
