About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Professional to join our team in Exeter or Swindon, working on a Civils Reactive Maintenance Contract for the Western Reactive. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading international infrastructure group, delivering complex projects that really matter to our business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage all costs associated with infrastructure projects, identifying commercial risks and opportunities to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Support senior members of the team in delivering varied commercial duties, including responsibility for procuring and managing supply chain.
  3. Optimise commercial performance through diligent cost control and value for money opportunities, achieving required standards and quality for customers.
  4. Assist with commercial relationships to both internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Provide support and adherence for the Gated Business Lifecycle process.
  6. Utilise the company's ERP System and BMS systems effectively.
  7. Maintain a Personal Development Plan to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
  2. Previous experience working in a similar QS position, preferably in reactive framework projects.
  3. Experience of infrastructure projects with resilience and determination to succeed.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a commercial team.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
