About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client's team. As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services for a variety of refrigeration equipment, including chilled cabinets, multideck units, and ice machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment, including troubleshooting and fault-finding.
  • Work with a variety of manufacturer plants, including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG.
  • Understand installation designs and bespoke manufacturer troubleshooting procedures.
  • Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Keep logs of inspections reports and remedial work.
  • Participate in an On-Call rota.
  • Perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a maintenance or facilities management environment.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA).
