Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Quality Manager to join our team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IATF16949:2016 accredited Quality Management System. As a key member of our Quality Assurance Department, you will be instrumental in driving excellence in inspection procedures, moulded products, and overall quality processes.

The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the TS16949 Quality Standard and ISO14001, with a proven track record of implementing effective quality systems. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to generate PPAP reports, develop test methods, and train Quality personnel.

Main Responsibilities
  • To ensure that all inspection procedures and moulded products conform to customer specifications at each stage of the production process.
  • To guarantee that quality requirements are met at each stage of the production process from APQP to Final Approval.
  • To create PPAP reports to Levels 1, 2, and 3, Cap studies, and ISIRs.
  • To maintain a comprehensive understanding of the TS16949 Quality Standard and operate, maintain, and review the quality system according to the standard's requirements.
  • To design and implement various test methods in accordance with customer requirements.
  • To develop training programs, train, and develop all Quality personnel under your control.
  • To produce related KPI reports on a monthly basis directly related to the Quality Assurance Department.
  • To interact with all component Suppliers to ensure that all components used in daily manufacturing conform to control plans laid down by PEP.
  • To conduct APQP Planning on all new products introduced to the company.
  • To collaborate with Customers Program Managers on all aspects of PPAP submissions.
  • To participate in Management meetings when required.
  • To perform Internal Audits to set schedules in accordance with TS16949 & IS0 14001.
  • To ensure that all personnel are fully informed on SPC requirements and control plans for new product launches.
  • To comply with all Company rules and regulations outlined in the Employee handbook.
  • To liaise with Customers on all quality concerns raised and handle all returns and complaints using the approved 8-D approach for all customers.
  • To interact with customers during site visits and make site visits to customers' premises when necessary.
  • To demonstrate a proficient understanding of the Environmental Standard ISO 14001.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Quality Assurance role.
  • In-depth knowledge of TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.
  • Proven track record of implementing effective quality systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in generating PPAP reports, developing test methods, and training Quality personnel.
