About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close alongside the Financial Controller.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global financial services firm, based in South West London, and be part of their Europe team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering with 18 locations across Europe
  • Weekly KPI reporting
  • Supporting the Regional Financial Controller with the production of consolidated management accounts/reports
  • Cashflow forecasting and CAPEX submissions
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Improving various processes across the region and team
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Reviewing statutory account submissions
  • Approving journal, bank payment, and transfer of funds
  • Ad hoc analysis
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role (Assistant Management/Financial Accountant role)
  • MUST be studying towards the ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification (will also consider candidates that are Qualified By Experience)
  • Strong business partnering, financial reporting, and group consolidation experience
  • Excellent accounting knowledge
  • Prior working knowledge of the finance system Navision (desirable, not essential)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak another European language (desirable, not essential)
