About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to fill the position of Support Worker Specialist. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a positive and respectful environment for children and young people in our Secure Children's Home in Exeter.

Your primary duties will include providing personal care, welfare, and health services to the young people in your care. You will also be required to carry out observations and assessments, provide information to the case coordinator, and assist in devising care, education, and wellbeing plans.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in working with children and young people with challenging behaviors, as well as a good understanding of child development and the impact of trauma.
