We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Red Snapper Recruitment | Public Safety. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring the delivery of high-quality ICT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers, ensuring a high level of service delivery and quality.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating as necessary to ensure proper recording, investigation, identification, and resolution.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging technology and industry best practices, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to deliver seamless service provision and ensure the efficient use of available resources.
- Contribute to the creation of new knowledge base articles to share information and best practices within the team and customer base.
- Supervise and monitor the handling of information and record keeping, ensuring alignment with legislation, policies, and guidance.
- Monitor and report on team expenditure to ensure the efficient use of available budgets and maximize value for money.
Requirements:
- ICT (Level 5) professional qualification or equivalent ICT qualification.
- Professional Management qualification (Level 5), or equivalent.
- ITIL certification in IT Service Management, or similar.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry best practices and relevant guidelines such as ITIL v4.
- Significant knowledge of relevant IT technologies and applications, their use, and application.
- Substantial knowledge, acquired through hands-on experience, in a specialist technical support environment for both hardware and software.
- Experience of developing (DevOps) in Power Apps / Automate and M365 and experience of developing (DevOps) in RPA is desirable.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team, motivate, and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
