Job Overview:

beBee Professionals, a leading manufacturing company located in Barnsley, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and previous experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and malfunctions.
  • Ensure all machinery complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Previous experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
