Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Home Group. As a key member of our repairs and maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality, right-first-time maintenance across our responsive and void properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and testing to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve high-quality results.
  • Use technology to log jobs, complete online learning, and collaborate with other colleagues.
  • Participate in our out-of-hours service on a rota basis, receiving an additional generous on-call payment.
Requirements:
  • City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
  • Qualified to 18th edition IET wiring regulations, electrical inspection and testing 2391, and AM2 or equivalent.
  • Experience in electrical repairs, installation, testing, and inspection within housing.
  • Fault-finding experience and an excellent knowledge to ensure electrical faults are diagnosed and repaired effectively.
  • A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgment.
