About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our talented Kitchen team at the Cultra Inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the supervision of the kitchen to ensure the highest standards of preparation and presentation are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the effective supervision of kitchen employees to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen function.
  • Promote and contribute to a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Ensure quality standards and procedures are fully understood and implemented, and daily checking procedures are fully applied.
  • Implement and monitor company policies relating to stock control and stock ordering.
  • Provide training and coaching to junior kitchen team members to deliver effective and efficient service in line with Hastings standards.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with other hotel departments and suppliers to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure the security of kitchen and storage areas is maintained.
  • Ensure kitchen areas, fixtures, and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Ensure a safe environment is maintained in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene, and security legislation and company policies and procedures.
