HVAC Specialist

Job Summary

Vital Human Resources is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Mechanical Services team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, planned maintenance, fault finding, rectification, and repair of air conditioning and ventilation equipment associated with commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake fault finding and planned maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation equipment
• Rectify and repair faults in a timely and efficient manner
• Communicate with colleagues and management regarding breakdowns and maintenance requirements
• Participate in an on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage
• Diagnose faults and implement effective rectification measures

Requirements

• Time served/apprenticed in a relevant mechanical/air conditioning discipline
• C&G/NVQ in Ventilation and/or Air Conditioning
• City and Guilds F-Gas Certificate
• Basic competence in Electrical and Controls systems associated with Mechanical Services
• Valid UK driving licence
