Production Manager - Global Manufacturer

Are you a seasoned Production Manager looking for a challenging opportunity to lead a large team in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We're seeking an experienced professional to join our client's global team as a Production Manager.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position responsible for managing a team of 450 staff and multiple senior managers. You will be accountable for achieving key objectives in cost, quality, customer satisfaction, and health & safety, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and empower the Production Management Team to meet business targets and drive improvements.
  • Optimize production processes to meet customer demands, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Manage production budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Drive performance against key global metrics, including cost efficiency, quality, safety, and plant utilization.
  • Implement local production strategies that align with global business objectives and initiatives.
  • Contribute to site-wide and global programs, such as health & safety rollouts and collaboration with research and development.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach to managing change and driving performance.
