About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Development Manager to join our team at Blue Spark Organisation Ltd. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and managing the innovation pipeline.

Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exciting new products for our branded business. Your expertise in product formulation, scale-up, and launch will be essential in ensuring the commercial viability and success of our products.

You will also be responsible for managing a small team of developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles. Additionally, you will play a vital part in managing key external stakeholder partnerships, influencing and navigating key project milestones to ensure full alignment and collaboration.

About You

We are looking for a driven and passionate Senior NPD Technologist or NPD Manager who is degree educated within Food Science or Food Technology. Experience within ingredients, powdered products, or drinks would be ideal, as would working within a branded business.

You will have a real passion for developing food & drink products, be adept at managing the innovation pipeline, and have a solid understanding of recipe formulation, scale-up, and launch. You will also have a strong track record of successfully managing and delivering projects with cross-functional teams and working closely with multinational suppliers.
