About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Deployment Lead to join our team at McDonald's UK (Corporate). As a key member of our Deployment & Testing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth deployment of software releases across our UK and global restaurant estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a technology quality assurance strategy to ensure the highest standards of quality in our software releases.
  • Work closely with our technology teams to plan and execute software releases, ensuring minimal disruption to our restaurants and customers.
  • Manage and coordinate the testing process, including the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.
  • Collaborate with our supplier partners to ensure that testing and deployment processes are aligned with our business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including our franchisees, global technology colleagues, and supplier partners.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our test team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality testing and deployment services.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, ensuring that our testing and deployment processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software release management, with a strong understanding of Agile and PRINCE2 methodologies.
  • Experience in leading and managing test teams, with a strong focus on quality and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Experience in working with supplier partners, with a strong understanding of contract management and supplier relationship management.
