Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Adult Education Teacher to join our team at a specialist SEMH school in Guildford. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

The successful applicant will play a key role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic progress, emotional development, and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to students, adapting teaching strategies to meet their unique needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure seamless student support.
  • Develop and implement effective education plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive student support.

Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Primary or Secondary qualified.
  2. Experience working with students with SEMH or similar needs, either in a school setting or other relevant environments.
  3. A flexible and adaptable mindset, with a focus on solutions and a commitment to ensuring each child succeeds.
