Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at International Automotive Components Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Equipment Optimization: Assist in implementing and maintaining proactive maintenance systems to maximize equipment efficiency and utilization.
  • Problem-Solving: Route cause analysis to identify issues and provide first-time fixes to reduce downtime.
  • Quality and Safety: Adhere to all company HSE policies and procedures, and comply with LOTO procedures at all times.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to equipment and processes to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Shift Work: Be prepared to work flexible hours, including shifts, to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a high-volume, high-class automotive environment, with experience of working with injection molding machines and robotics.
  • Skills: Effective time management, communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with quality systems such as IATF16949/ISO 9000.
