Pertemps is seeking an experienced Participation Lead to join the Corporate Parenting Service as part of a service review. In this vital role, the postholder will take the lead in participation of children and young people within the Children and Young People's Directorate.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To oversee and coordinate the current participation activity within the service which involves children and young people directorate.
  2. To oversee and coordinate the implementation of Mind of My Own within the service.
  3. To support the effective involvement and influence of children in care and care leavers in the corporate parenting committee.
  4. To provide meaningful feedback to children in care and care leavers on the outcomes of consultations and other activities.
  5. To drive the recruitment and support of the Young Ambassadors activity.

Hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of 2 days on site per week.

Requirements:
  1. Strong proven experience in working in a leadership role in Children's Services.
  2. Key skills in improving service quality, delivering an effective quality assurance framework.
  3. Experience in project management and ability to write complex reports and policy documents.
