About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in delivering successful projects and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  2. Administer contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies, ensuring accurate cost monitoring and forecasting.
  3. Proactively manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely and correct applications.
  4. Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives.
  5. Effectively manage contract change, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
  6. Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
  7. Negotiate and agree final accounts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Previous experience or a sound understanding of contract management, cost management, change management, valuation, procurement, reporting, and collaborative approaches.
  2. Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including different procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
  3. Able to identify and drive efficiencies and improvements throughout the project life cycle.
