We are seeking a dedicated Substance Misuse Intensive Engagement Worker to join our team in Hull.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of £22,390 - £27,062.

The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) is a registered charity with over 40 years of experience transforming the lives of individuals affected by drugs and alcohol misuse.

As part of our East Riding Partnership (ERP), you will be working in a multi-disciplinary team led by a consultant, providing treatment services in the community.

Our services include aftercare, young people, community rehabilitation programs, and specialist support for individuals struggling with image and performance-enhancing drugs/steroids.

This is an exciting time to be working in the drug and alcohol field, with new career opportunities emerging.

As an Intensive Engagement Worker, you will provide advice and support to individuals admitted to hospital, conducting initial assessments of risk and need for care-planned treatment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging and supporting individuals to access treatment services
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing care plans
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support
