About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in Hull. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist clinical interventions to young people who use our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the nursing needs of young people, considering their medical, social, cultural, and family circumstances.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to support young people in achieving their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and services to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct clinical audits to inform service evaluation and identify areas for development.
  • Employ a professional, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude in all interactions with service users, peers, and other professionals.

Requirements
  • First-level registered nurse with recent relevant post-qualification experience and a current PIN.
  • Experience of working with young people and substance misuse treatment services.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and harm reduction interventions.
  • Ability to assess and recovery plan service users and formulate written reports.
  • Clinical auditing skills to inform service evaluation.
