Student Mental Health Role at Coventry University

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Student Wellbeing Team as a Student Mental Health Advisor. Based in London, you will work with students who experience mental health difficulties or have a dual diagnosis of learning difficulties/mental health with associated behavioural issues.

You will provide initial assessments, practical assistance, signposting and advice, making referrals to appropriate external specialist services as required. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of workshops/group sessions on issues relating to student mental health.

We require someone with education to degree level in an appropriate discipline such as Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Health, Psychology or Counselling. Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team in the NHS/local authority, along with experience of working in a clinical capacity within a mental health setting, is essential.

A competitive salary range from £37,631 up to £42,943 (dependent upon experience) + London Allowance with the potential to progress is offered.
