Support Worker for Students with Mental Health Needs

This School-Based Mental Health Assistant position requires an individual who is passionate about supporting students with mental health needs. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Liaising with Mental Health therapists/counsellors, internally and externally
- Carrying out baseline and interim assessments to assess the impact of interventions
- Supporting whole school initiatives on mental health strategies, including delivering mental health training for staff
- Supporting staff to resolve issues with students with mental health needs
Additionally, you will work closely with the SENCO to plan, undertake, and monitor interventions specifically designed to help students with mental health needs.
Working ConditionsThe successful candidate will work in a secondary school setting, located in the heart of Wandsworth, South West London. The working hours are 8am - 4pm, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
