We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Centaur Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with inbound freight companies to book the receipt of inbound stock in an organized manner.
- Receive and inspect ambient and cold chain products for damage.
- Maintain accurate stock location numbering and sections.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track and manage stock levels.
- Coordinate inbound receiving and put-away operations.
- Ensure stock replenishment and rotation.
- Process orders, invoices, and consignments.
- Lift, maneuver, and load products as required, adhering to manual handling procedures.
- Ensure safe and smooth product transitions.
- Manage stock picking and order completion.
- Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Train, retain, and motivate staff within a team-based management culture.
- Proactively motivate teams to achieve targets and deadlines.
- Communicate and escalate issues to fellow managers, management, and internal/external service providers.
- Contribute to process improvements, methods of operation, and practices.
- Complete weekly/monthly statistic reports and ensure MHE servicing and maintenance are up to date.
- Oversee warehouse work health and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in receiving/put-away, inventory/replenishment, pick/pack processes, and booking transport for cold chain orders.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical product handling and SOPs.
- Current forklift license for counterbalance and electric reach trucks.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to take initiatives and responsibilities.
- Significant customer service and/or operations experience.
- Understanding of imports and exports processes and statutory requirements.
- Sound experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound level of numeracy and attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and variable workload demands.
